RAMADAN MOUBARAK
Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you many learn piety and righteousness. (Qur'an, al-Baqarah, 2:183)
What is Ramadan?
رمضان is the 9th month in the Islamic Calendar where Muslims from around the world fast for 29 or 30 days. We refrain from eating and drinking between sunrise and sunset. Fasting instils patience and faith, and raises the rank of piety as Muslims refrain from committing acts which are sinful and forbidden, it tests our self control. This is the month where acts of worship are rewarded more by Allah Subhanu wa Talah and therefore we read more Salaat and Quran to be closure to him. Some Muslims who are very fortunate travel to Makkah (Saudi Arabia) to perform Umrah
To my Muslims Brothers and Sisters. I pray this month will be full of blessings and may you be granted the opportunity to perform lots of ibaadat during this month. Please remember me in your duas.
